Well, it’s been a beat. And a lot has changed. Both in the world and in our little slice of Vermont.
As a mini recap, just over a year ago we moved into our new custom-built home just outside of Burlington, VT.
Especially in the first few months, we had so much fun getting settled into our new home, exploring our new surroundings, hosting wonderful friends and family, and becoming used to the fact that we were homeowners!
While we always have plans for future travels simmering in the backs of our minds (we’ve got our eyes on you, Canada!), sometimes the world has other plans. And like much of the world these days, we have needed to adapt. Sometimes that involves picking up a power tool or two. (We think it’s good for the soul!)
We have taken the time to really reflect on our home recently, and while traveling isn’t in the cards for the near future, making our home our little sanctuary is. So our online space here is making a real transition from being ALL about the travels to being ALL about home. And frankly, we’re in a season of life when we’re okay with that!
So get ready as we take you on a tour a little closer to home…in fact the tour is OF our home. We have been busy little bees decorating, diy-ing, and dining our way through the pandemic. And we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to!
